991. "Keep On The Covenant Path!" Pres. Russell M. Nelson's first counsel as our new Prophet! From LDS Living
I spent the morning watching the news conferences with our new Presidency! I'm sure they are the right men for this time in this big, beautiful, and confused world. Each of them has a Doctor's Degree, and many years of serving. Besides Pres. Nelson having been an amazing heart surgeon, both President Oakes and President Eyring have been Presidents of universities, and been very recognized and important in their chosen professions. I especially enjoyed a few things told about Pres. Nelson that I hadn't heard before. He loved to ski, and did until about a year ago at age 92. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French, and Mandarin Chinese! He has visited 10 foreign countries, with their Heads of State, since last October when we had the last General Conference. We will hear much about and from them in the coming months and years. We all loved President Monson, and also Elder Uchtdorf, and will still hear from Elder Uchtdorf often I'm sure. If
