I really am inspired each day by Latter Day Light Daily Devotional.  I'm sharing some things they printed today, and thoughts below, also from them, which go along with this week's study from "Come Follow Me".  I hope you enjoy it! This beautiful article was in Meridian Magazine last Monday, a week ago.  I just read it, and want to share it with all your dear friends who read this blog.   I have been quite busy and haven't written for a week today!    I want to add my testimony to this article.  I knew dear Larry Barkdull in 1989, when he agreed to publish 3 simplified music books I had written.  At that time he owned Sonos Music, which since then sold to Jackson Music.  He passed away a few months ago, and Meridian Magazine is still publishing his wonderful articles.  He is so gifted as a writer also, and his book "Rescuing Wayward Children" is often referred to.    Is there a family out there which does not have someone who is troubled, and needs our gentle and sincere testimony of the truthfulness of our Gospel, Jesus Christ Himself, The Book of Mormon, and other ways we can help give hope and inspiration to those among us who are struggling.  We a...

What is integrity ? That word inspires me, and I have wanted to write about it.  When writing about our pioneers, and ancestors, I feel their integrity.  Our lives are so important in the eternal scheme of things, that we need to live with integrity, so we can truly have happiness in this life, and in the life to come. On December 18, 1835, The Prophet Joseph Smith wrote, "I could pray in my heart that all my brethren were like unto my beloved brother Hyrum, who possesses the mildness of a lamb, and the integrity of a Job, and in short, the meekness and humility of Christ; I love him with that love that is stronger than death".   What a comfort such a brother was to the Prophet who had so many turn against him, both in and out of the Church.   (Italics and bold print added.)                A painting of Joseph, left, and his beloved brother Hyrum.
