1009. Lots of family pictures, and a video made in November, 2015, about 3 months before Wayne passed away.

I first posted this on February 19th, 2014, and I will put an update or two with it.   I'm sorry -- I don't think I put the video in right. I'll have to have someone show me how, and do  it later. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2014 101. More fun family photos -- Miscellaneous glimpses of the past! I have many photos of the family over the years.  It is hard to choose which to publish, as they all are so precious and each one brings out many memories.  Everyone in each of our children's families has such a wonderful enduring place in our hearts.  This video was made in November, 2015.  Our nephew, Russell Wright, a bishop, asked Wayne to make a video about indexing, that he could show in his ward in Spanish Fork. When Wayne passed away he had done 685,070 names indexing, and 74,000 arbitrating! Adding a quote on February 22, 2018.  Elder Howard W. Hunter taught, “Throughou...

A Family Wedding! Anita and Reed                                     Taken soon after they were engaged in August. The last 2 weekends  have been memorable!  Our daughter Anita was sealed in the Bountiful Temple to Reed Lunnen, Saturday November 19, 2016, and that late afternoon we had a wedding dinner for friends and family. Coming out of the Bountiful Temple, November 19, 2016.  Reed had 3 of his daughters and Anita had 3 of her sons in the Temple.    From left to right, Rebecca (Becca, Wife of Sam), Sam, Jake, David, and Ben with his wife Ashlee.  Anita and Reed on the front. The 2 witnesses were Joe Eckman, oldest son of Blaine Eckman, deceased, and Wayne M. Eckman, oldest son of my late husband Wayne.  (Blaine and Wayne were identical twins.)   Anita and Reed with his 3 daughters and their husbands.  Alan, a...

739. Anita and Reed's wedding tomorrow, and beautiful thoughts from Latter Day Light!

Image
Here are some beautiful thoughts from Latter Day Light!   And tomorrow, November 19, 2016, will be a totally special day for our family.  Our daughter Anita will be getting married to Reed Lunnen in the Bountiful, Utah, Temple.  They are so happy!  The interesting thing about them is that Reed is the youngest brother of my husband Wayne's twin brother Blaine's wife Joyce!  Blaine's son Joe got the idea to introduce them around last April.  We wonder if Wayne and Blaine, up above, put the thought in his head! Anita has been a first cousin to their children, and now will also be their aunt!  His and her children and the whole family are happy for them, and making good relationships together.  This was their engagement picture. These are Anita's 4 sons, from left to right:  Sam, Ben, Jake, and David, in the airport when Jake returned home from his mission to Indonesia, last summer, in 2016. This is their invitation, a...

240. Our daughter Anita's birthday was Sept. 19th. This is your life, Anita (briefly)

I began this entry on September 19th, a day after my husband got home from the hospital.  I wanted to post it that day, as I had decided to start a tradition this year, and first wrote about our oldest son, Wayne M., on his birthday July 8th.  But it became obvious I wouldn't be able to finish it, so I want to do that today.   ------------------Written on Sept. 19, 2014 Our third child, Anita, has a birthday today, and, if she doesn't mind, I'll tell that she is 55 years old. Anita was born on September 19th, 1959, in St. George, Utah, the fall that Wayne was teaching his first year, up north in Garden City next to Bear Lake.  We moved there in the summer after Wayne graduated from Utah State in Logan, and we didn't know anyone -- no doctor or someone to help me after she was born.  So we decided to take me and our son Wayne, 3 years old, and Delsy, almost 16 months old, down for us to be in St. George.  We had Dr. Reichman, who had delivered Wayne M....
