1335. The Middle Ground is Disappearing By Dan Ellsworth · August 23, 2021, in Meridian Magazine

I'm posting two articles today, as they are both related, and both appeared in the Meridian Magazine today.  They both quote Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, and others.   I want to go on record here in my blog, and anywhere else I speak or write, saying:  I DO support the brethren, and Church teachings, and the Prophets!  I believe all the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints teaches, and every true principle we are taught! I am grateful for my faithful pioneer ancestors, and I want to live as they did -- true to the teachings and principles of this TRUE Church! The Middle Ground is Disappearing By  Dan Ellsworth  · August 23, 2021 The following first appeared  in Public Square Magazine . We are witnessing an ever greater movement toward polarity. The middle-ground options will be removed from us as Latter-day Saints. The middle of the road will be withdrawn.  If you are treading water in the current of a river, you will go somewhere....

1193. 200 years ago today was a VERY significant day ! Videos and things to read about the First Vision of the Prophet Joseph Smith!

TODAY is the day to watch these videos, if you have time.  We are today celebrating, according to this  video - and the proof is here! -- a most important day in the history of the entire world,  since Jesus Christ was on the earth. https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=H6MsQ6QBMMY     How Lovely Was the Morning – Documentary [HD]  NEW DOCUMENTARY ON THE FIRST VISION Also, an article on Book of Mormon blog is about what was in the video, but has more interesting things  also, that have been studied by scientists, etc. It can be found at --  https://www.bofm.blog/ march-26-1820-landmark-date- in-history/ This comment below was also in that article above, which is fascinating!    March 26th would become a "favorite" date for Joseph Smith. That date has stuck in my mind  ever since I learned that two events happened on that day, one in 1839 and one in 1844.  26 March 1844...

I have always believed the Prophet Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon being exactly what he said it was.  This article will help anyone who has doubts ! Why I Can’t Manage to Disbelieve Joseph Smith By Maurine Proctor  · December 20, 2018 beliSign up for Meridian’s Free Newsletter, please  CLICK HERE Daniel C. Peterson gave this talk we are excerpting at the FAIRMormon conference in August of 2016, and  it can be read in its entirety here . We are rerunning it here in honor of the prophet Joseph Smith’s birthday on December 23.  Sometimes people say “All right, name your single best evidence for the Book of Mormon” or “Name the three absolute proofs for the Book of Mormon.” Peterson said, “I don’t believe there are any such things. I think that what Latter-day Saint scholars – apologists, if you want to use that term – have thought they were doing with the Book of Mormon…is constructing a cumulative case, no one element of which...

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2016 766. Today is the Prophet Joseph Smith's birthday! 212 years ago today he was born! I also reaffirm my testimony this year, 2017! This year, 2016, I reconfirm my testimony which has been shared 4 times now -- 2013, 2014, 2015, and now 2016. I have loved the Prophet Joseph Smith, and learning about him as long as I can consciously remember!   I was born of goodly parents who also loved him and taught me of him.  I love to read of his life and teachings.  I know that he is a true prophet!  This same entry was posted on his birthday since I started this post in 2013 (with alterations each year).  I hope you enjoy reading it!  (in 2014) I hope whoever reads this has a few minutes to ponder these testimonies about the Prophet Joseph Smith, whose birthday is today.  Part of these words were written last year on this day, and probably will again ne...
