My oldest son, with whom I live, is a Patriarch.  I love to read whatever I can about Patriarchs, and Patriarchal Blessings.  My grandfather and great grandfather were also Patriarchs in pioneer St. George, Utah. 747. Inspiring thoughts to help us think of our Savior Jesus Christ, and this wonderful season of the year!

Inspiring thoughts for the Sabbath Day -- coming!  For the 3rd day of the Light Of The World, I found 2 pair of glasses I don't use anymore.  Hopefully someone can use them when I donate them to Deseret Industries.  Today my son helped me put up our small Christmas tree -- we haven't had a large Christmas tree for a few years.  Usually my husband Wayne loved to decorate the tree.   He really loved holidays, and getting together with the family.    I found this photo below of Wayne with one of our sweet great grandchildren.   It is so typical of him, and so natural!  He always loved little children, and one of the things I noticed first about him was how he always would smile, wave, talk, etc. to little children, and they loved him! Jesus Christ SCRIPTURE OF THE  DAY  Helaman 5:9 " O remember, remember, my sons, the words which king Benjamin spake unto his people; yea, reme...

Here are some beautiful thoughts from Latter Day Light!   And tomorrow, November 19, 2016, will be a totally special day for our family.  Our daughter Anita will be getting married to Reed Lunnen in the Bountiful, Utah, Temple.  They are so happy!  The interesting thing about them is that Reed is the youngest brother of my husband Wayne's twin brother Blaine's wife Joyce!  Blaine's son Joe got the idea to introduce them around last April.  We wonder if Wayne and Blaine, up above, put the thought in his head! Anita has been a first cousin to their children, and now will also be their aunt!  His and her children and the whole family are happy for them, and making good relationships together.  This was their engagement picture. These are Anita's 4 sons, from left to right:  Sam, Ben, Jake, and David, in the airport when Jake returned home from his mission to Indonesia, last summer, in 2016. This is their invitation, a...
