Beautiful thoughts, to help us forgive others!   The Crucial Skill of Giving Beauty for Ashes By  Kate Piersanti  · July 13, 2021 I love the phrase “beauty for ashes.” It’s from Isaiah 61:1-3. We all love Elder Bednar, and he really opened up and told about his growing up years!   I will be gone for 5 days to the St. George Family History Expo!  I'm so excited to go to that this Friday and Saturday -- going down in a few minutes on the shuttle!  I love Family History, and also get to hear "Gentri" in a concert on Saturday night, and go to my home ward for Church on Sunday.   But the best part is seeing my son Jeremy and his wife Danielle, and also staying with my sister Vina! 4 ‘linking’ takeaways from Elder Bednar’s Worldwide Devotional address September 10th, 2017 |   0 comment Sister Susan Bednar (left) and Elder David A. My early interest in Family History !  I first posted this on March 13, 2014.    These days I am busy packing and discarding, to get ready to move to Bountiful, Utah and live with my son Wayne and his wife Julie.  I will move on April 15, 2017, and leave my hometown!   I have come across many  memories in going through our "stuff".  The main things I am taking are histories of my parents and ancestors!  Those are timeless!  At some time each of you will be the "oldest person alive" for your posterity.  It is up to you to keep the legacy of your ancestors alive!   114.
