374. 3 Types of Marriage that are completely conflict free! (And why you wouldn't want any of them.)

This is a great article from Meridian Magazine, by Richard and Linda Eyre. 3 Types of Marriage that are Completely Conflict Free (And Why You Wouldn’t Want Any of Them) By Richard and Linda Eyre  · March 8, 2015 Authors’ note: When it comes to the area of Families, there is a war going on. Subtly orchestrated by the adversary, many powerful engines of change, from media and Internet to education, and from big government to big corporations, undermine the natural family in all sorts of ways. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes unwittingly, these culture creators build an atmosphere of amoral indifference and broaden the definition of “family” until anything goes and until commitment and responsibility disappear. Many still defend the natural family, fighting valiantly against gay marriage, abortion, cohabitation, no-fault divorce, pornography, and other threats to traditional and time tested values. But in addition to that defense, there is great need for...

A Singer on the Las Vegas Strip Joins the Church‏ By Mark Albright  · March 8, 2015 In September of 2001, I was working as a singer on yet another cruise ship.  I had spent most of my life in the entertainment business, singing and acting on various cruise ships around the world, performing in plays and musicals or at a variety of theme parks on different continents.  As one might do, I made many, many bad choices during this period of my life. One morning, after another night of bad choices, I found myself staring in the mirror, unhappy with the man I saw reflected in the mirror.  I had always had a belief in Jesus and God. I knew I wasn’t living my life in accordance with those beliefs.  I knew I had to change. I just didn’t know how. When that job ended in April of 2002,  I returned to my “Day Job” as a singing gondolier at the Venetian Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas.  I was helping to train a new group of gondoliers to ...

372. Amazing story, in Utah, just 2 days ago! Officers heard a voice "Help me", and the surviving 18 month old girl was alive!

Image
Rescuer's heard "Help me!"  SPANISH FORK — Four Spanish Fork police officers all said they heard it. "We've gotten together and just talkin' about it, and all four of us can swear that we heard somebody inside the car saying, 'Help,'" officer Jared Warner recalled Sunday. But when they flipped the vehicle resting on its hood in the Spanish Fork River onto its side Saturday, they discovered there was no one inside able to speak. "The only people in there were the deceased mother and the child," said officer Bryan Dewitt. "We're not exactly sure where that voice came from," Warner told KSL. But because of the actions of those officers and several Spanish Fork firefighters, 18-month-old Lily was rescued. She remained at Primary Children's Hospital Sunday in critical condition but was reported to be stable. Police believe Lily was upside down, strapped in her car seat for up to 14 hours. Her moth...
