Before I put this new post by Brian Mickelson on my blog I want to mention that I wrote several entries with my mother Ruth Allen Miles' biography in April and May of 2014.  Blogs numbers 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, -- and 146 and 147, are all about my mother's life.  Also blog # 95 is of her beautiful poems, and has been almost the all time favorite of readers.  You may enjoy going back and reading some of them. --------------------- I really like this new post today, May 8, 2015, by Brian Mickelson.  I feel the same way he does about the Gospel and its truth.  Living the commandments brings its own confirmation that they are true, and that they bring happiness.   This I know also! This great article came from www.mormonbuzz.com.  It is great! We got to know a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir recently. His name is Ryan Snarr, and he shared with us some of his drawings that he creates each General Conference. During each session, Ryan quickly sketches each speaker between musical numbers, and it’s become something of a tradition for him. Ryan was gracious enough to allow us to feature some of his sketches, and sat down with us for a short Q&A. Following are some excerpts from our interview: Q. This is a good article about forgiving and forgetting.  Don't hold grudges, and try and make peace with everyone. This is a great article.  I wish I'd know it nine kids ago --(and almost 60 years ago.  We raised our children on Dr. Spock -- not totally, but child raising books were rampant.  And I was the oldest of 3 girls, and hadn't grown up around children and babies.)  Come to think of it, we must have done some things right, because our children are great people, who are contributing a lot to the good in this world!
