I am reposting a blog I wrote on March 4th, almost 3 months ago.  It has been such an unusual 3 months, with many many comments posted on facebook, etc.  in support and favor of these 3 fine tenured professors with their doctorates.  This morning at 10 a.m. our time, Ken Peterson will be the first to finally receive his long overdue hearing to decide the outcome of the situation. Those who know the situation are praying that the Utah Higher Education board who will be deciding this outcome -- will truly listen to the "fine print", and use wisdom, caution, and compassion! Today I have been thinking a lot about my husband, Wayne D Eckman, and our lives together, and happy memories.  I want to post this again in his honor, and also my father who was in World War I, and our son Allen who was in the United States Air Force for 6 years, as a navigator on a re-fueling plane. I wrote this first on November 10, 2017. 9 43. The men in our family who are or have been veterans! We are proud of their service.
