Angels that Intervene with Children By  Anne Hinton Pratt  · February 10, 2022 Cover image: “Tender Mercies” by Annie Henrie Nader,  altusfineart.com  Used with permission.  Some of the most beautiful and touching stories told are those about angels protecting children. Miraculously Rescued from Fire Kenny Mazzanti, a retired Sergeant on the California Highway Patrol had several experiences where he saw firsthand where angels protected children.  He writes, “I was patrolling southbound I-5 near Lebec (between Los Angeles and Bakersfield CA) when I saw the backend of a motorhome burst into flames. The driver pulled over to the right shoulder of the freeway and the family piled out of the motorhome. Most of the motorhome was fully engulfed by flames...

1383. Gender Ideology Run Amok By Abigail Shrier · February 6, 2022, in Meridian Magazine

This is a subject in which I have a very personal interest, and also aversion!  I had a best female friend in college, to whom I was a bridesmaid at her wedding.  About 15 to 20 years after I had no contact with her, "she" showed up at my home, a transgender "man", and wanted me to accept her!  That was in about 1970 give or take 2 or 3 years.  At that time, I had never heard of such a thing!  I believe it was the biggest shock I've had in my entire life!     It appears that young females are the most vulnerable to this today.  SAD! In 2007, America had one pediatric gender clinic; today there are hundreds. Testosterone is readily available to adolescents from places like Planned Par...

This is helpful and appropriate for anyone who has been to a sacred Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  To many who have a Temple in their country, or is having one built, this will help you understand many things! It can help us understand many scriptures especially in the Old Testament! What Can We Learn From Ancient Sacred Temple Clothing? By  Donald W. Parry  · February 3, 2022 In his book 175 Temple Symbols and Their Meanings (Deseret Book, 2020), Donald W. Parry carefully deals with seven different entries on the sacred clothing of ancient and modern temples. However, in the present paper, because of space concerns, he deals with one of the seven topics. A few years ago, in Southern California, a couple informed their Stake President “that their first temple experience overwhelmed them because they didn’t understand the experience.” [1]  They were especially perplexed about the sacred temple clothing—why sacred clothing? And what does it...
