SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY:
3 Nephi 1:13-14
"Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given, and on the morrow come I into the world, to show unto the world that I will fulfil all that which I have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets.  Behold, I come unto my own, to fulfil all things which I have made known unto the children of men from the foundation of the world, and to do the willboth of the Father and of the Son--of the Father because of me, and of the Son because of my flesh. And behold, the time is at hand, and this night shall the sign be given."

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"We are all dependent upon Jesus Christ, upon his coming into the world to open the way whereby we might secure peace, happiness and exaltation. And had he not made these exertions we never could have been secured in these blessings and privileges which are guaranteed unto us in the gospel, through the mediation of Jesus Christ, for he made the necessary exertions" (Deseret News, Mar. 11, 1857, p. 3).

Dearest Friends,  MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR !  !
This is a beautiful video telling of Christ's birth.  If you'd like to watch it tonight, it will be helping keep the tradition, when we read out of the Bible, Luke chapter 2, verses 1 to 19.  Also in Matthew, Chapter 2 verses 1 through 12 tell of the wise men coming.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL YOU DEAR PEOPLE.  WE HOPE YOU TAKE TIME NOW AND THEN TO READ FROM OUR BLOG:

Sam, our grandson, called it an "online journal" that you allow the public to read.  It is sort of like that, but my desire is for it to give an emotional and spiritual lift to any of you who are reading it.  I do know some are reading it from several countries (now and then) -- and up to today there have been over 4000 page views.  I do hope it is uplifting someone.  That is about all I can do at this time in my life -- All our lives are so busy.

It will always be on the internet, so if you want to know "what Grandma (Pal) is thinking today", as Marion, (granddaughter) put it, (about the blog) you can "tune in".

WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH ! ! !

PAL AND WAYNE
