355. Valentine's Day! Photos of couples of our ancestors and posterity!
This is a repost of # 97 which I posted last Valentine's Day, 2014, with some new additions.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, ALL! Wayne and I have had a tradition for many years on Valentine's Day, and on our Wedding Anniversary -- Wayne is so thoughtful and always gives me a gift that has a feminine flair! The little tradition involves something Wayne found years ago, and between special days, it has a spot in our storage cabinet. He gets up earlier than I do, and has it all set up and lighted! A fun TRADITION ! ! Anita took pictures of it.
We tried a black background, and a white one, so I'll put both on. As you can see, it has a cord, and when plugged in, the roses have a light inside! A simple thing, but it is a TRADITION! !

We do have pictures of other ancestors, some of which are on the blog already. but we will add them later, with their stories. Our granddaughter Melissa (Missy) Eckman and Willie Beavers wedding picture. They have been through quite a challenge of their own. Willie has had chemo, and a bone marrow transplant, and is now doing good from having leukemia. She has a blog "Strength For Willie" that inspired me to write this blog. Now 2015, Willie is doing well!
Delsy and Gordon's daughter, Amanda Nielson, and Brent Peterson, -- their engagement picture. They were married last summer on June 22, 2013, in Canada.
