933. Link for Elder Deiter Uchdorf's talk in Conference, plus 90-Year-Old Czech Grandma Turns Small Village Into Her Art Gallery By Hand-Painting Flowers On Its Houses!

I was invited to join a group called 40 Days and 40 nights General Conference Challenge.  It is to watch (or read) one General Conference talk for the next 40 days.  I have already listened to Elder Uchdorf's talk, which opened the Conference on Saturday morning.  It is always more impressive when we listen for the 2nd or 3rd time.  This link below sends you to the site where you can watch him giving the talk.  He emphasizes words which make it more meaningful!.  If you want to take that challenge I will try to post each link each day for the next 40 days.  During that time I will be traveling some, and also have a foot operation, so I hope I can keep it up!

You'll have to copy and paste that link, but it is just so wonderful!

Along with this link above, I included a delightful thing I found on Facebook:

90-Year-Old Czech Grandma Turns Small Village Into Her Art Gallery By Hand-Painting Flowers On Its Houses

Remember the little Polish village where every house is covered with painted flowers? Well, one 90-year-old resident of Louka, Czech Republic, is aiming to make her hometown just as charming, and spends every spring and summer adorning window and door frames with majestic designs.
Anežka (Agnes) Kašpárková, a former agricultural worker, picked up the hobby from other local woman who had been doing the same for years. Using vibrant blue paint and a small brush, she creates intricate floral patterns inspired by traditional Moravian (southern Czech) artwork. Despite attaining both local and viral acclaim, she has insisted that it’s purely for pleasure. “I am an artist,” she stated to Czech media. “I just enjoy it and I want to help.”
Age really is just a number, especially when it comes to embracing your creativity. Scroll down to see this artistic grandma in action, and let us know if you wouldn’t mind her using your house as a canvas.
