I love to follow these Latter Day Light quotes, and the Church History that follows them each day.  These were posted within the last week. There is great wisdom in this article.  I feel I am using wisdom as I plan next spring to sell my home here in St. George, and move up to Bountiful, north of Salt Lake City, and live with my oldest son, Wayne Miles Eckman and his dear wife, Julie.   My dear husband Wayne passed away this last February 21, 2016, and one daughter, Anita, has already moved up to Ogden, only 30 minutes from Wayne.  My other daughter, Delsy, who lives here, will be retiring from being a high school English teacher either this year, or next year, and will also be moving to Ogden.  I do have one son, Jeremy, who will still be living in St. George, but he is getting married soon, and will have a new family to nurture. Both my son Wayne, and daughter Pamela, live in Bountiful, plus most of their children, and several great grand-children.  Also, Anita and Delsy will be in Ogden, and another daughter, Angela, lives in Eden,  about 30 minutes up Ogden Canyon.  Another s...

This is a most touching short story of a tremendously amazing woman! The Life-Changing Words Elder Holland Told an LDS Woman After She Burned 80 Percent of Her Body by LDS Living Staff  | Oct. 14, 2016 Famous Mormons Makes You Think Mormon Life The Accident On August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson boarded a Cessna 177 Cardinal for a daytrip with her husband, Christian, who had recently earned his pilot’s license, and Doug Kinneard, Christian’s flight instructor and dear friend. After stopping in St. Johns, Arizona, to refuel for their return to Mesa, the small plane sped down the runway and climbed into the sky. But without warning, the plane plummeted to the quiet neighborhood below. The 27-year-old mother of four was knocked unconscious upon impact, only to awaken to the sickening smell of burning fuel and burning flesh—her flesh. “I was drowning in flames,” she recalls. “I reached for the seatbelt, but I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t get...
