836. Jeremy on You Tube, and getting married today! Also more beautiful thoughts!

Today my youngest son, Jeremy, will be married!  Check out blog # 704, last September 20, 2016, to read about his life.  He has had trials and disappointments in life, as we all have had, but this marriage will bring him such great happiness, I know!  You can see him play the piano on these places on youtube:  The first is a rag-time and the second Valse Romantique by DeBussy.  He performed at the Town and Country Bank on February 24, 2017, this year.  I absolutely love his dear wife to be -- today!  More about that later.  Also are some beautiful thoughts for the day included.  Have a wonderful day!   This was taken several years ago when he played in a concert in the Tabernacle. ▶ 2:27 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYX0hPVa29U ▶ 3:44 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzUx4p5mKEA March 15, 2017 Iron Rod SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY 1 Nephi 15:23-24 "And they said u...

Saviors on Mt. Zion, Missionary Work, Redeeming the Dead, and Perfecting the Saints! (Indexing helps!) I became interested in Family History when it was called "Genealogy".  I first became very fascinated with it when I was about 16 years old, (1950).    I had Aunt Sarah on my father's line, and my Aunt Vina on my ...

The Neuroscience of Singing http://upliftconnect.com/neuroscience-of-singing/ By Cassandra Sheppard on Sunday December 11th, 2016 I found this on facebook!  It is so interesting!  Let's have a sing-along this  weekend!  Personally I have noticed I find it difficult to sing if I am sad or depressed in any way.  I realized that singing does lift my spirits!  It will yours too!    Singing Together Brings Heartbeats Into Harmony The neuroscience of singing shows that when we sing our neurotransmitters connect in new and different ways. It fires up the right temporal lobe of our brain, releasing endorphins that make us smarter, healthier, happier and more creative. When we sing with other people this effect is amplified. The science is in. Singing is really, really good for you and the most recent research suggests that group singing is the most exhilarating and transformative of all. The good feeli...
